Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for full-time night shift in Med Surg. You will lead patient-centered care, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, and partner with physicians to deliver high-quality daily clinical support.

You will also guide discharge planning to empower patients and families, ensuring safe transitions. Requires TN RN license and BLS; diploma from accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current multi-state license (Compact State) prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient-centered care journeys prioritizing clinical excellence and personal dignity.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care across medical disciplines and advocate for patient safety.
• Partner with physicians to execute complex treatment plans and daily clinical tasks.
• Lead comprehensive discharge planning to empower patients and families for safe recovery after discharge.

Education
