Job summary

ThedaCare Medical Center – Shawano is seeking an experienced RN to provide patient-centered nursing care on a 7:00pm–7:00am shift. This role supports a 0.9 FTE schedule with weekends on a rotating basis, delivering high-quality care in collaboration with an interprofessional team.

The ideal candidate has Wisconsin RN licensure, BLS, and certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC) within required timelines, plus at least two years in labor and delivery or emergency departments.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN licensure and BLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC certifications must be obtained within specified timeframes.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in labor and delivery/ED settings.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess patients and develop a care plan with the interprofessional team.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes and patient safety.
• Provides skilled nursing care across the continuum and supports growth and professional development.
• Identifies opportunities to improve patient experience, streamline processes, and maintain safety.

Education

Wisconsin RN Licensure

BSN within 5 years

ACLS within 6 months

PALS within 6 months

TNCC within 18 months

ENPC within 12 months

NRP within 3 months (OB/ED)

Minimum 2 years’ ED/Labor & Delivery experience
