Job summary

ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah is seeking experienced registered nurses to join our Emergency Department team. This 12-hour night shift (7p–7a) includes every 3rd weekend and 2–3 holidays per year, with a fast-paced, interprofessional environment committed to compassionate, high-quality patient care.

We require Wisconsin RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS; BSN preferred and TNCC/ENPC as applicable. The role supports professional growth and a culture of safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• ADN is required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS/ENPC/NRP where applicable.
• TNCC within 18 months for ED or 12 months for >1 year ED experience; maintain every 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess patients and develop a plan of care with interprofessional teams.
• Plan for patient care needs in collaboration with the interprofessional team to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise and provides all RN duties age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care.
• Identify ways to improve patient experience, streamline care processes, and lower costs while maintaining quality.
• Mentor and engage colleagues to retain expert clinicians and support development.
• Provide consultation and maintain positive relationships with physicians and other team members to solve problems and improve care.
• Anticipate and manage risk to prevent crises and perform well in life-threatening emergencies.
