Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for 36 hours per week on the Fri/Sat/Sun night shift at our Waupaca location. The role emphasizes patient-centered, evidence-based nursing across the continuum with interprofessional collaboration.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering high-quality care, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to a culture of innovation and growth. New grads are welcome to apply and weekend incentive programs are available.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure must be maintained.
• ADN required for RN position.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• ACLS certification or ACLS renewal within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition and nursing needs with the interprofessional team.
• Develop a plan of care to provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
• Deliver care across the nursing process to improve patient outcomes.
• Mentor and engage with staff to maintain a professional care environment.
• Ensure safety and quality by adhering to policies and risk management practices.

Education

Wisconsin RN Licensure

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
