Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System in Greensboro, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the MedSurg department on a full-time, 12-hour night shift (7p-7a) at Good Samaritan Hospital. The unit is a 25-bed facility providing postoperative and general medical care.

The RN will assess patients, develop and adjust care plans, collaborate with the care and support teams, and contribute to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Refresher course completed within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior experience preferred; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Care for post-operative and general medical patients in a 25-bed MedSurg unit.
• Assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
• Collaborate with Care Team and Support Team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide care using nursing process, patient environment, and team support.
