Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System seeks a Registered Nurse for the MedSurg Department on a 12-hour night shift at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, GA. The role emphasizes collaborative, evidence-based patient care and adherence to established standards.

You will assess patients, participate in care planning, and work with a multidisciplinary team to implement effective pathways of care. Day One benefits are included with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Refresher course completed within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior experience preferred; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
• Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures.
• Be a member of the Care Team and Support Team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of a group of patients.
• Provide care using the nursing process and collaborate with the healthcare team.
