Job summary

Trinity Health's St. Mary’s Health Care System in Lavonia, GA, is seeking a Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical RN for a 12-hour night shift (7p–7a). This full-time role supports a collaborative interdisciplinary team delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.

You will assess patients, develop and revise care plans, and coordinate with care and support teams to achieve optimal outcomes. GA RN license required; new graduates considered.

Qualifications

• Current GA RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing education program.
• Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• New graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
• RNs are members of the Care Team and Support Team and have accountability to function as a team to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
• The RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designated time frame.
• The RN provides care to patients via therapeutic use of self, nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards.
