Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with providers and the care team to ensure a positive patient experience and outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license (or compact), BLS, and 1 year of acute care experience. BSN within 24 months of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current RN license in Texas or compact license.
• BLS certification required by ... (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• 1 year acute care hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic response, documenting care.
• Provide responsive care, anticipate patient needs, and resolve requests.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
