Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with state requirements and department standards, collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Responsibilities include admitting assessments, medication administration, timely documentation, responding to patient needs, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Associates Degree acceptable to hire; BSN must be completed within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Texas or compact license.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition at admission and during each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
