Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Southeast location, 1A unit, night shift. The role collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver professional nursing care, including assessments, exams, patient education, and medical record maintenance.

RNs are hired based on experience groups (RN I to RN IV). Requirements include a Texas nursing license or compact license and BLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support.
• RN I < 1 year; RN II = 1-3 years; RN III = 3-10 years; RN IV = 10+ years.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to the nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to attain positive outcomes based on standards of care.
• Coordinates treatment plans and develops discharge/transfer plans.
• Participates in program evaluation and continuous improvement for patient-centered outcomes.
• Adheres to Memorial Hermann policies and regulatory standards; promotes safe, compassionate care.
