Job summary

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos is seeking a registered nurse to provide independent, proficient care in a fast-paced setting. You will deliver routine and complex patient care, maintain documentation, and collaborate with physicians and staff to support positive outcomes.

The role requires a BSN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS; ACLS is required within the specified grace periods. Experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred, with orientation and onboarding designed

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred or higher.
• RN license in state of employment or compact.
• BLS required.
• ACLS within credential grace periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Meet competencies and delegate as appropriate to support care.
• Follow established protocols and coordinate with the care team.
