Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System in Lavonia, GA, is seeking a Medical-Surgical RN to join Sacred Heart Hospital for a 7p–7a night shift. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, acting as unit leader and charging nurse when required.

The role requires GA RN licensure, current BLS, and graduation from an accredited nursing program; new graduates welcome. Join a compassionate team delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in a Catholic health system.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: Experience preferred. New graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, including developing, evaluating, and modifying the care plan.
• RNs are members of Care Team and Support Team with accountability to achieve patient outcomes.
• The RN acts as a professional caregiver with responsibility and accountability for care of a group of patients.
• Provide care via therapeutic use of self, nursing process, environment/technology, and collaboration with healthcare team.
