Job summary

Advocate Health’s Kenosha location seeks a dedicated RN for Med Surg 2. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care on a 36-hour/week schedule, primarily three 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730), with weekend and holiday rotations.

Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach are required. The unit supports adult female medical-surgical care with pediatric considerations; ACLS/NIHSS training and pediatric cross-training are expected after orientation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices (Wisconsin).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and clear communication to ensure patient safety and optimal experience.
