Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Cares for residents across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment in accordance with standards. May serve as charge nurse and oversee delegated tasks while ensuring safe patient care and adherence to nursing practice standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care, assess residents, and educate patients and families.
• May serve as charge nurse and supervise staff as needed.
