Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver individualized nursing care in a Christian, not-for-profit environment. You will use the nursing process to assess residents, plan and implement care, and collaborate with families and providers across disciplines.

The role may act as charge nurse, supervising staff and ensuring safe, high-quality care within applicable standards. A licensed RN in the state and relevant certifications are required, with opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues.
• May serve as charge nurse and supervise delegated tasks.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice as defined by state rules and professional ethics.
