Job summary

Share Medical Center in Alva, OK is seeking a dependable and compassionate nurse to join our Hospital Nursing team on the night shift. This full-time role may be filled by either a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and involves providing safe, compassionate care to patients of all ages while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

Active Oklahoma RN license or valid multistate license.
Current BLS certification.
ACLS and PALS certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, treatments, and changes in status.
Administer medications, oxygen, treatments, wound care, and other prescribed therapies within the nurse’s scope of practice.
Carry out provider orders accurately and promptly.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
Assist with patient teaching, discharge planning, and coordination of care.
Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA, and confidentiality requirements.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
