Job summary

Methodist Specialty Care Center in Flowood, MS is seeking an experienced RN Shift Manager for the 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift. You will oversee nursing operations, provide clinical leadership, and supervise staff to ensure safe, resident-centered care.

The role requires an active Mississippi RN license, BLS, and solid leadership experience. ACLS is preferred, BSN is preferred, and CRRN certification is a plus. Join our award-winning team delivering compassionate rehabilitation care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Mississippi.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• CRRN certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations during the assigned shift.
• Assess staffing levels and resident care needs to ensure safe and effective operations.
• Coordinate daily nursing activities and communicate priorities across the interdisciplinary care team.
• Supervise, mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing staff while promoting professional development.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centered nursing care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
• Promote compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
• Serve as a clinical resource and provide guidance to nursing staff throughout the shift.
