Job summary

Methodist Specialty Care Center in Flowood, MS is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the third shift, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. This role provides direct resident care, coordinates with Respiratory Therapists, and supervises CNAs to ensure high-quality nursing and dignified daily living.

You will join a team recognized for long-term care excellence, with opportunities to build meaningful relationships with residents and their families while contributing to a supportive care

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in Mississippi
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents
• Direct care to residents and address medical and psychosocial needs
• Coordinate with Respiratory Therapists for tracheostomy and ventilator management
• Interact daily with residents and families to build trust
• Collaborate with Medical Director to plan resident care
• Work with management to enhance facility operations
• Oversee and direct care provided by CNAs
