Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, Montana is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as the Night Supervisor for Acute Care. This full-time role combines clinical leadership with operational oversight to ensure high-quality patient care while guiding nursing staff across ER, ICU, Med/Surg, OB, Pediatrics and more.

The ideal candidate holds an active Montana RN license with at least two years of acute care experience and prior leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or Compact RN License.
• Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience.
• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical support during the night shift.
• Coordinate staffing assignments and patient care activities.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Monitor patient care delivery and address clinical concerns.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Support and mentor nursing staff while promoting teamwork.
• Respond to changes in patient conditions and emergency situations.
• Provide direct patient care when needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and safety practices.
