Job summary
Ilocatum in Great Falls, Montana is seeking an experienced Acute Care Clinical Manager to lead the Medical-Surgical & Emergency Services team. You will oversee staffing, education, evaluations, and quality/safety initiatives while providing hands-on bedside support during high census or acuity surges.
The role requires a BSN, RN license in Montana, extensive acute care experience, and at least one year of management, with strong leadership, communication, and collaboration across nursing staff
Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Montana (or eligible).
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC certifications (must obtain within 6 months).
- Minimum 7 years RN clinical experience in Med-Surg/Acute Care/ED.
- At least 1 year of management experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead, organize, and direct daily operations across the department.
- Drive staff development, onboarding, educational events, and annual evaluations.
- Manage scheduling, timecard edits, interviewing, quality data collection, incident tracking, sick logs, and daily huddles.
- Provide hands-on bedside support across Med/Surg, Pediatric, Geriatric, and ED during high census or acuity.
- Direct Nursing staff while collaborating with House Supervisors, Physicians, and C-Suite leadership.
