Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for supervising resident care and staff, ensuring adherence to policies, and maintaining high-quality patient outcomes. The role includes overseeing medications, admissions, discharges, and routine clinical duties across day, evening, or night shifts.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in the state of practice, demonstrate leadership, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure in the practicing state.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to supervise professional and nonprofessional personnel.

Responsibilities

• Complete RN record keeping forms upon admission, discharge, transfer, etc.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents; assist with transportation and packing as necessary.
• Perform professional nursing procedures per facility policies (e.g., catheterization, tube feeding, dressing changes, blood/urine/sputum collection).
• Provide tracheostomy and ventilator care as applicable.
• Communicate with RN Supervisor/Director of Nurses and investigate complaints as needed.
• Give and receive nursing reports at shift changes.
• Monitor residents and evaluate physical and emotional status; keep supervisor informed.
