Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position in Columbus, OH. The RN will ensure the nursing care plan is followed, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and deliver high-quality, safe patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, nursing documentation, discharge planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. A strong emphasis on safety, education, and professional development is required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• BLS Certification required before first shift.
• ACLS Certification required before first shift (CIRH ONLY).
• Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience.
• PCU or Stepdown experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to establish an individualized care plan.
• Identify teaching needs and collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and responses in patient medical records.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and utilize the nursing process for quality outcomes.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care and safety.
