Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical patient care and supervise staff on a per-shift basis. You will support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe patient care and efficient resource management.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, and active RN licensure in the state of practice. BLS is mandatory; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by policy. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in state of practice and policies.
• AHA BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical nursing care per shift.
• Oversee supervision of staff responsible for patient care.
• Coordinate care using nursing process to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Administer medications per hospital policy and standards.
• Respond to emergencies per hospital codes and incident command system.
