Qualifications

• Family-centered nursing approach used in patient care.
• RN license in the state of Ohio is required.
• Current CPR certification required; willingness to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care priorities to the care team.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Utilizes Therapeutic Communication while monitoring patients and families.
• Engages in workplace activities, participates in data collection or auditing, reports updates to staff.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
