Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - Trans Mountain Campus in El Paso seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. The RN will provide direct clinical care, assess and plan patient care per shift, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality, safe nursing.

Emphasis on infection control, safety, and emergency readiness. Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating care within the medical regime, and supporting leadership in resource management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year RN experience for PRN status.
• Current license; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical nursing care per shift plan.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing staff on unit.
• Support CNO to ensure high-quality, safe care and resource management.
• Administer medications per hospital policy.
• Follow safety, risk management, and infection control standards to discharge patients.
• Fulfill hospital incident command responsibilities in emergencies.

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing (preferred)
