Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery in a Level 2B unit. The 18-bed Women's Services Unit includes a 6-bed nursery and a 8-bed Mother Baby Unit, with ~50 deliveries monthly and low C-section rate. Expect cross-training opportunities and self-scheduling in a supportive team.

Schedule: 3x12s, nights (7p-7a); weekends and holidays required. 2-year commitment may apply for sign-on bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state license required.
• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.
