Job summary

Texas Health Frisco, a Texas Health Resources facility, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery on the Night shift. You will deliver patient care using the Nursing Process, assess needs, plan and implement interventions, and monitor outcomes while maintaining safety and infection control.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year RN experience, RN licensure, BCLS, NRP, ACLS, IFM, and 90-day to 6-month timelines for certifications; BSN is preferred for growth and leadership possibilities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required or RN residency completion
• BCLS, NRP, ACLS and IFM certifications required within stated timelines
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; 2 years L&D experience preferred
• BSN preferred; ADN or Diploma acceptable with eligibility for licensure

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the Nursing Process
• Assess and plan for patient care needs
• Intervene and adjust plans as needed
• Evaluate outcomes and ensure safety and infection control
• Maintain continuity of care across shifts and transfers
