Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at Texas Health Frisco. The role includes night shifts, 7:00 pm–7:00 am, with rotating weekends, delivering family-centered care and coordinating with a supportive team.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred) with RN licensure and current BCLS/NRP/ACLS/IFM/NRPA/CPI certifications. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• BSN preferred
• 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency
• 1 year L&D RN experience preferred
• RN certification upon hire required
• BCLS, NRP, ACLS, IFM, NRPA, CPI training required

Responsibilities

• Delivers care using the Nursing Process
• Assesses patients and plans care
• Intervenes as needed and evaluates outcomes
• Maintains age-specific safety and infection control
• Initiates information for patients and families
• Ensures continuity of care across shifts and transfers
