Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality bedside care in the Labor and Delivery Unit during night shifts. The RN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care across the continuum.

You will collaborate with physicians, LPNs, and UAPs, ensure safety, and participate in outcomes improvement, with on-call rotations and weekend duties as required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from Ohio or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification; BSN required after 5 years of employment.
• C-EFM certification at 1 year or higher.
• NRP certification; weekend and holiday rotation; on-call required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: Document planned interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation: Evaluate and document response to care and revise plans as needed.
• Leadership: Participate in process-improvement activities to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Operations: Support 24/7/365 unit operations and patient flow.
