Adventist Health Bakersfield seeks an RN to deliver coordinated nursing care during the night shift within Labor and Delivery. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with other disciplines, and utilize critical thinking to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role supports discharge planning, collaborates with families and the care team, and upholds established standards of practice in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required.
• NRP or NALS certification required.
• BSN preferred; acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Utilizes critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
