Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Obstetrics Unit in Ohio. The role involves providing general nursing care to patients and families across the care continuum on a 24/5/365 schedule.

The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs as needed. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, implementation and evaluation, with emphasis on safety, quality and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation: assess response and revise care plans with the team.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement to enhance quality and satisfaction.
• Operations: support safe, efficient unit operations and patient flow.
