Job summary

Ascension’s Saint Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI is hiring a Night Shift, Full-Time Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery to deliver direct patient care and execute established care plans in line with physician orders and organizational policies.

You will monitor patient conditions, document changes, and coordinate care across disciplines, while supporting safe discharge planning in partnership with the care team. BLS within 30 days of hire and Wisconsin RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current multi-state license required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or equivalent licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, implementing patient care plans in accordance with organizational policies and physician orders.
• Monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare team members.
• Act as the primary coordinator across all disciplines to ensure seamless, well-managed patient care.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
