Job summary

White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor & Delivery unit. The role supports the mission to extend care across physical, mental, and spiritual healing and requires Night shifts.

Responsibilities include patient education, role modeling for Level I nurses, and implementing evidence-based care plans while ensuring ANA standards and Adventist HealthCare values are upheld.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Pass NCLEX and maintain Maryland nursing license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as specialty dictates.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Model professional nursing practice and support evidence-based care.
• Develop plans of care and monitor patient conditions.
• Mentor colleagues and participate in rounds and literature reviews.
• Identify opportunities for practice improvement and implement changes.
