Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MelroseWakefield Hospital complex care unit in Melrose, MA. This role covers night shifts (7p–7a) with a schedule including every third weekend and requires a MA RN license and BLS.

The RN will perform direct patient care, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes. A BSN is preferred and opportunities for professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience level determined by role (I-IV).
• 1 year RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional nursing care per physician orders.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Deliberate on individualized care plans and discharge planning.
• Utilize nursing judgment to adapt care to patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and resources.
• Precept and mentor junior staff as needed.
