Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Clinical Observation Unit. The unit delivers observation services on a 28-bed footprint with stays under 24 hours; the role is 0.6 FTE, nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 24 hours per week, with every other weekend night and holidays.

The RN will perform nursing process, coordinate patient care, and promote safety and quality across the continuum, in line with standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Maintain a safe patient environment and high-quality care across the continuum.
