Job summary

Singing River Health System Gulfport Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7 PM - 7 AM shift. The RN will provide patient care using the Nursing Process, in compliance with the Mississippi Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

New RN graduates participate in the Singing River Nurse Residency Program. Mississippi RN licensure and required certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC in designated areas) are required; strong clinical judgment and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing; licensed as RN in Mississippi.
• All RNs must maintain BCLS certification at hire/transfer; specialty areas require ACLS, PALS, TNCC per area.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient clinical experience within past 5 years; refresher accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using Nursing Process and maintain professional standards.
• Participate in Nurse Residency Program for new grads.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and effective communication with patients and team.
