Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7PM-7AM shift at Singing River Gulfport Hospital. The RN will provide professional nursing care, following the Nursing Process and state and ANA standards, with emphasis on patient safety and quality outcomes.

New RN graduates must participate in the Singing River Nurse Residency Program. The role requires Mississippi RN licensure and ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications as applicable, with a strong focus on de-escalation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required for specialty areas (where applicable).
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient clinical experience (preferred).
• New RN graduates must participate in Singing River Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Adhere to MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA Standards of Practice, and applicable ethical guidelines.
• Maintain posted certifications and participate in required trainings.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
