Job summary

Singing River Health System in Gulfport, MS, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7PM–7AM shift at Singing River Gulfport Hospital. The RN will apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in line with professional standards, while participating in the Nurse Residency Program for new graduates.

Requirements include MS RN license, ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NRP where applicable, and at least one year of inpatient experience or a recent refresher.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Mississippi (active).
• 1 year inpatient clinical experience preferred or recent refresher.
• New RN graduates must participate in Singing River Nurse Residency Program.
• Mandatory certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process per state and ANA standards.
• Ensure infection control and safety guidelines are followed.
• Supervise LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and Unit Technicians.
• Maintain documentation and participate in performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Manager and multidisciplinary teams.
