Job summary

Singing River Ocean Springs Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7PM-7AM shift. The RN will apply nursing theory and the Nursing Process to provide high-quality patient care within Mississippi regulations and ANA standards.

Responsibilities include caring for patients, maintaining certifications, and collaborating with the care team. Supervisory duties for LPNs and aides may be required, with emphasis on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• BCLS certification required on hire/transfer.
• ACLS/PALS/ TNCC certifications may be required per specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process per MS Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Maintain required certifications and perform duties to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care.
• Supervise LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Technicians as assigned by management.
• Adhere to hospital policies and participate in quality improvement.
