Valley Baptist Health System in Harlingen, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver direct clinical care across shifts, coordinating patient care under the nursing process. You will administer medications, monitor outcomes, and participate in safety, quality, and infection-control initiatives.

This role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and adherence to hospital policies. A licensed nurse with ACLS/PALS may be preferred; sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently licensed as required by state of practice.

Responsibilities

• The RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients.
• Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
• Performs and fulfills all HICS responsibilities during times of emergency and/or disaster.
