Job summary

St Mary's Health Care System in Athens, GA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) on the night shift. The RN will assess patients, develop and adjust care plans, and work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, individualized patient care.

Must hold a Georgia RN license and BLS certification; completion of a refresher course if not active recently; prior RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license and BLS certification required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program approved by Georgia Board of Nursing.
• Refresher course within past 6 months if nursing practice not performed in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients in IMCU; develop, evaluate and modify the care plan.
• Deliver care using nursing process, therapeutic communication and teamwork.
• Collaborate with Care Team to achieve patient outcomes per care pathway.
