Job summary

St Mary’s Health Care System, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit in Athens, GA. The RN provides collaborative, evidence-based care as part of an interdisciplinary team, focusing on whole-person care across physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care-plan development, and delivering nursing care using established standards.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing.
• Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior experience in preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify the care plan.
• RNs are members of the Care Team and Support Team, and work to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide care to patients using the nursing process, environment/technology, and collaboration with the health team.
