Job summary

Qualifications

• Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
• RN – Texas State Licensure and PSV Compact Licensure; must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days.
• BLS or Instructor certification; NRP within 4 months.
• Magnet certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments, exams, and treatment as part of direct patient care.
• Collaborates with physicians and interprofessional team to coordinate care.
• Mentors staff and participates in unit governance and education.
• Ensures patient safety, documentation, and adherence to standards.
