Qualifications

• Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment
• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatments, and maintains medical records.
• Communicates and collaborates with physicians and interprofessional health care team to facilitate and coordinate patient care.
• Provides patient education and advocates for patients and families.
• Demonstrates leadership through unit initiatives, charge nurse duties, or preceptorship and participates in governance or service line projects.
