Qualifications

• Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment
• RN - Texas State Licensure - must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days (if establishing Texas residency)
• BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA)
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation or Instructor (AHA,AAP) within 4 months

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and provide direct patient care.
• Educate patients and families, and maintain medical records.
• Coordinate with physicians and interprofessional team to ensure quality care and outcomes.
• Lead unit initiatives, serve as charge nurse or preceptor when needed.
• Support patient rights and act as advocate within care plans.
