Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required.
• Current Texas RN license to practice in Texas.
• Current CPR training program required.
• ACLS obtained within 6 months for Labor and Delivery/Antepartum areas.
• NPR training required within 6 months for Mother/Baby, Well Baby Nursery, Labor and Delivery, and Antepartum.
• Bachelor degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients per established clinical standards.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care and outcomes.
• Support the organization’s vision and mission; use knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity.
• Contribute to quality care through performance improvement with positive outcomes.
