Job summary

Mercy Health, Cincinnati’s The Jewish Hospital, seeks an experienced RN for the Float Pool to float across units including ICU support. The shift is Nights, with 36 hours per week, and a focus on compassionate, evidence-based patient care.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care under a clinical manager, ensuring safety, quality and collaboration with the health care team.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current nursing license in the designated state of employment (required).
• Basic Life Support(BLS) certification required.
• 1 year of experience as an Registered Nurse in acute care (required).

Responsibilities

• Float to various departments to provide patient care within unit needs.
• Plan and coordinate nursing care using evidence-based practices.
• Document interventions and patient responses accurately.
• Support patient safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical managers and other staff to meet staffing needs.
