Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) – St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, IL, seeks a House Supervisor (RN) to oversee nursing care and hospital operations during night shifts. The role involves staffing coordination, patient flow management, and bed placement, while serving as a resource to nursing staff and other departments.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, and 1 year of nursing experience; a BSN is preferred. ACLS/NRP/TNCC/PALS may be required by affiliate guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1 year nursing experience is required.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• ACLS, NRP, TNCC and PALS required per affiliate guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital operations and nursing care during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate staffing and manage patient flow and bed placement.
• Serve as a resource and leader for nursing staff and other departments.
• Provide guidance, education, and support to ensure quality patient care.
• Manage hospital-wide situations and assist with data monitoring; assume admin duties in leadership absence.
