Baptist Health in Corbin, KY is seeking a House Patient Care Coordinator for the 3rd shift in Nursing Administration. The role oversees hospital operations, coordinates staffing and patient flow, and supports admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

Requires a BSN and Kentucky RN licensure with 3+ years of related experience; multiple certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Minimum of three years of job-related experience.
• Active RN license with the Kentucky Board of Nursing required.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, 12-Lead ECG, Nurse Wound Care, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia and Avade Training within post-hire timeframes.
• Clinical management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides hospital-wide clinical and administrative support during assigned shifts.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and supports quality patient care.
• Coordinates staffing, patient flow, bed utilization, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Provides leadership during codes, emergencies, and other critical situations.
• Addresses patient, family, staff, and physician concerns as appropriate.
• Identifies safety and risk concerns and communicates issues requiring follow-up.
• Coaches and supports staff while promoting compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
