Job summary

Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT, is seeking an Intermediate Care Unit RN to deliver direct patient care for high-acuity medical and surgical patients. You will coordinate nursing care, monitor cardiac status, and work with a dedicated ICU team on a 12-hour night shift.

Requirements include CT RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BLS certification; ICU/CCU and telemetry experience are highly valued. The role features Full Time, 36 nights with every third weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
• Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care for an assigned group of patients and coordinate all nursing care per standards.
• Collaborate closely with a supportive ICU team to ensure cardiac monitoring and stability.
• Follow established practice guidelines and maintain patient safety in a high acuity setting.
